About
The Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM) Library was established in October 1996, previously known as ASM Information Centre, with the objective of providing resources for expert networks and staff of ASM. Located on the 20th level of the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) tower, the Library specialises in science, technology, innovation, engineering and policies. Along the years, the Library is enriched with ASM publications and reports, ASM Science Journal, local and international materials and reference materials. The Library strives to provide updated, timely and relevant information in support of ASM Vision and Missions.
In 2025, ASM Library introduces the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) to enhance access and streamline information on resources available in the Library. The OPAC is publicly accessible and if patrons are interested to borrow or use resources available, kindly contact us at kdas@akademisains.gov.my.
The Library is managed by the Knowledge Hub, Data Analytics and Strategic Inputs, Academy of Sciences Malaysia.
